The Conservation Freedivers network acts to bring about positive change to the environment and local communities while guaranteeing fair working conditions to its stakeholders. It is made of a network of like-minded freedive professionals, who share a common vision and abide by an established set of environmental and social standards.

WHO WE ARE

Apnea Green is a non-profit environmental organization that acts to protect marine resources and to benefit local communities in the Philippines.

Apnea Green’s mission is to advance the ecological transition in the country by means of better integration of local communities through the disciplines of freediving, leading to greater community outreach and increased sustainability for the many populations depending upon marine resources.

Apnea Green’s activities are divided into two main areas: environmental protection and community-based programs. While the first one aims to offer a comprehensive solution for improvement of the state of marine resources, the objective of the second is to inspire long-term behavior change amongst local communities.

It was incorporated in 2019 and is based in Tagbilaran, the capital city of the province of Bohol, in the country’s Central Visayas region.
